History
In 2007, Jungmin Lee, a founder of Meteor Youth Voluntary Club, realized the need to eliminate educational inequality. She started the organization with peer high school students by visiting local childcare centers and teaching children English for free. METEOR members also joined diverse volunteer activities every month to give a hand to the community and contribute to solving social issues.
In 2009, we decided to expand our efforts to cultural exchange, recognizing the need to nurture future leaders who can effectively lead global relationships of culture, people and economic activity. Starting from 2010, we've provided free Seoul tour service for foreigners.
Currently, We don't go on community service and educational volunteer but only focus on volunteering foreign tourists to show around the wonderful city, Seoul.

Introduction
The free tour guides group, Meteor consists of Korean university students. Its members provide free city tours for foreigners visiting Seoul. Group members work as student ambassadors of Korea, promoting Korean culture and history. We encourage foreign tourists to have invaluable memories to get along with the local youths who are outgoing and enthusiastic. We go on the free tour for foreign tourists differently from professional tour guides.
Recruiting time : Every Winter (January) and Summer (June)
Responsibilities :

Management Team (University Students)
Management committee is also composed of university students who are in charge of operations of the organization. Staff members are working to make Meteor's services sustainable and effective. Staff members also strive to provide professional development and learning opportunities to Meteor members.
